As we head into the month ahead, we’re sharing a few updates and resources from across the MIB Agents community. This month, we’re spotlighting the Osteosarcoma Decision Aid, a resource that helps patients and families better understand surgical options. We’re also excited to announce the return of our OutBidding Osteosarcoma auction this March and are seeking donations. We’re sharing information about an upcoming high school hockey game honoring OsteoWarriors and OsteoAngels and how you can watch, along with details on FACTOR 2026 Travel Awards, and information about Research Bees and their role in supporting osteosarcoma research. Choosing a surgical path after an osteosarcoma diagnosis can be overwhelming. The Osteosarcoma Decision Aid was created to help patients, families, and caregivers better understand their surgical options and participate in shared decision-making. Founder Janet Panoch shares how OS Decision Aid was developed, who it’s designed for, and how it’s being used around the world to support informed conversations, clearer expectations, and more confident decisions at every stage of the osteosarcoma journey.

For the past 3 years, the young men of the Regis Jesuit High School Hockey Team in Colorado dedicate a game to MIB OsteoWarriors and OsteoAngels. The game will be broadcast on YouTube on February 6 at 6:30 PM Mountain Time (8:30 ET, 7:30 CT, 5:30 PT). There will be a shout out at the beginning of the game (and probably at one of the intermissions) by the players to each of the OsteoWarriors on the October Warrior Mail list. They also sent a hockey puck signed by the entire team to each Warrior Mail recipient.

MIB Agents is offering a limited number of travel awards for FACTOR 2026 (June 25–27, Columbus, OH) for researchers, physicians, and OsteoWarriors. OsteoWarriors can be nominated for a travel award by social workers, child life specialists, or medical professionals.
