Volume 22 | June 5, 2024
June is one of our favorite months because we get to gather with our community in person at FACTOR!
If you are planning to attend, we have some tips to help you prepare:
- Conference check-in opens at 2 pm on Thursday, June 20th followed by the Welcome Reception and our annual Docs vs. Warriors fun and games at 5 pm.
- View the agenda to preview the Scientific Panel content and Wellness offerings
- Watch our layperson Guide to the FACTOR 2024 Scientific Panels to get the most out of the General Session
- Read about Maeve & Michelle, our FACTOR Warrior HQ leads, to learn what they have in store for our Warriors and siblings this year
- Party attire is encouraged for our Enchanted Forest Prom after Friday dinner. Bring your dancing shoes!
And if you are unable to join us in Cleveland this year, you can still be part of FACTOR from afar!
- Contribute to the best ever Warrior HQ experience and shop the Warrior HQ Amazon wishlist for games, crafts, and fun and FACTOR.
- Order a Luminaria in honor of an OsteoWarrior or OsteoAngel, which will light our path to Friday dinner.
- OutBid Osteosarcoma with us and shop the virtual auction June 19th-June 22nd.
While we look forward to gathering in person, we are all part of a greater community bonded by a common goal that supersedes geographic boundaries, languages, and time zones. Please check out our updates this month on our education and patient programs like Warrior Mail, OsteoBites, TURBO, and Clinical Trial Resources which connect us and make resources available to our constituents wherever they are at.
With hope,
Ann

Pack your Prom attire!
Warrior HQ is always a magical place at FACTOR. Maeve Smart is an OsteoWarrior and a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in the Janeway Lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Michelle Preston is an Advanced Child Life Specialist in the Cancer Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
