Volume 16 | December 6, 2023
As we are wrapping our gifts for our dear ones and writing our cards, we are also wrapping up our year at MIB Agents with you, our dear ones, top of mind. We have accomplished a lot together in 2023, and with your wholehearted participation, we are well on our way to "better" with and for the osteosarcoma community. Here are some of those accomplishments:
- Hosted 19 fundraisers for osteosarcoma programs and research
- Funded $650,000 in osteosarcoma research grants
- Reviewed 21 patient cases in 7 tumor review boards
- Shared research from 28 researchers on OsteoBites
- Connected to our AYA community with 9 osTEAo podcasts
- Sent out 400+ Warrior Mail packages to 65 OsteoWarriors
- Created a community of 30+ bereaved parents in 39 sessions of Healing Hearts
- Connected 20 newly diagnosed families to Ambassador Agents
- Distributed nearly 400 copies of our Osteosarcoma Handbook
- Assembled 180+ in our community for our annual FACTOR conference.
Together, our patient, scientific, and industry communities made all of this possible with their time, passion, expertise, and financial contributions.
Amidst this momentum to Make It Better, we never lose sight of our Because Ofs, who continue to inspire, contribute in many ways, and fuel more momentum and determination to Make It Better.
From our MIB Agents family to yours, we wish you a happy and healing holiday, with much optimism for the new year.
With hope,
Ann
