Tyler was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his right humerus in December 2012. After completing the osteo chemotherapy protocol, he endured multiple surgeries. Tyler participated in the PARP-inhibitor and the WEE1 inhibitor (Irinotecan/MK1775/AZD1775) clinical trials as UCSF. “If it can save me, that would be great and hopefully it can help another kid.” He loved family parties, playing basketball, going to school, and hanging out with his buddies. He loved his dogs Roxy and Duke. Tyler passed away in
2015.
